Franklin Chouinard

Pastor

Pastor Frank and Cindy moved to Ottawa from Collingwood, Ontario, to work with the congregation of Trinity Church in December of 1994. Prior to pastoring the Collingwood Church of the Nazarene he was Associate Pastor [for Youth] in Medicine Hat and home missions pastor in Sylvan Lake, both in Alberta.

Pastor Frank felt led to the pastoral ministry while he was working on a Bachelor of Education degree at the University of Saskatchewan and moved from Saskatoon to attend Canadian Nazarene College in Winnipeg, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Theology degree.

Cindy is ECE trained and holds a Bachelor of Psychology degree from Carleton University in Ottawa and is a certified Forest and Nature practitioner. She is a licensed childcare provider and has worked in both group and home daycare settings and has led a number of seminars for others in the field.

Pastor Frank and Cindy have three adult children and four grandchildren. They enjoy time with their family, visiting and exploring Canada and other parts of the world, touring on their motorcycle, and sitting in front of a fire in their living room with a book in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other.
